Monitoring Your AngelList Portfolio

If you invest through AngelList, you know the drill: you make your investments, maybe get an occasional email from an SPV runner, and… that's about it. Want to track updates, see which positions have appreciated or declined, or just get a sense of how your portfolio's evolving? AngelList doesn't surface any of that. It’s a bit like sending your money off to a distant cousin and hoping for a holiday card.

The Challenge: Sparse Updates

AngelList is great at connecting you to early-stage deals. But once your investment is made, portfolio monitoring takes a back seat. AngelList doesn’t provide markups, markdowns, or any clear timeline of changes in your investments. Unless a founder or fund manager proactively shares an update, you’re left in the dark about how your portfolio is performing over time.

This is where Signed’s AngelList importer steps in. Signed lets you export your AngelList investment data and upload it to your Signed account. Your exported data gets analyzed, compares it to any previous versions you’ve imported, and highlights what’s changed.

Here’s what you get:

  • Explicit Markups & Markdowns: See, in plain language, which of your positions have gone up or down — and by how much.
  • Change Tracking: Get a clear timeline of updates, so you can spot new investments, exits, or changes in valuation as they happen.
  • Portfolio Insights: View all your alternative assets — not just AngelList — in one place for a holistic picture of your investments.

The other nice thing about Signed? It actually has a list of angel investors. "AngelList" doesn't really... have a list... of angels anywhere. Odd.
