You might have noticed a new look filtering through Signed the last few weeks, starting with our new homepage. Today we’re finishing that work, with a new portfolio view, new company views, and lots more.
The New Dashboard
The most noticeable change is the new Dashboard. Your portfolio itself isn’t some static spreadsheet; things are happening. The new Dashboard shows off more of a timeline view, so new pitches, investor updates, investments, and other events bubble up right to top-of-mind so you can keep a better view into what’s happening today.
Still like the old table view of all your holdings? There’s a new Holdings tab that brings you the familiar spreadsheet view. It’s also a sticky selector, so clicking on Holdings will default that as your main signed.com view until you change it.
The New Company Pages
The main interactions you have with your portfolio companies on Signed are on the company pages themselves. We’re introducing a new unified timeline view here, too.
The data you need most is right up top: your position’s value and metrics, and the holdings you have with that company. Then we go into a timeline view, giving you a good progression over the years of how your interactions have fared with the startup. This is where your notes, events such as SAFE conversions, and any sales or distributions go.
Additional Bits
Other areas that got some polish: there’s a new Company Holdings page that goes into deeper detail about your shares, a more performant command bar (cmd+K), WCAG 2.2 AA compliance across the app, and some changes along our new multi-currency support and .docx/.xsls previews. You'll notice tons of little quality-of-life improvements, too!
Enjoy the fresh kicks. Heja Signed!
