Most angels in this space are mission-aligned operators, scientists, or former energy executives who can evaluate both unit economics and atmospheric impact.

Given the capital intensity and long time horizons, climate angels often think in terms of catalytic capital and prefer founders who can articulate a credible path to scale without perpetual grant dependence.
