Pulley shutting down: find out how you're affected

This week, Pulley announced that they were shutting down. It's a real bummer; they were a lovely addition to the industry, and it was fun to see fresh blood in the space.

Beyond that, though, a natural reaction for an angel investor is to wonder what their personal exposure is to this, and how they might have to shift things around in the coming months. The first step is to use our new search facets on our MCP server for investments to see how many of your portfolio companies use Pulley for their cap table:

Pulley is winding down on December 8, 2026; in the meantime, a lot of the weight is shouldered by your founders, who will have to find a different path to take for their cap table management.

One thing you can be proactive on is to reach out to those companies (or mention it in your next meeting with them) and shoot them a link to Pulley's shutdown FAQ, if they haven't seen it already. When dealing with cap tables and legal structures, it doesn't hurt to be a little ahead-of-the-curve, since these types of moves can take some time to accomplish.

All of this is a nice benefit of ensuring you have clean data within your holdings on Signed; you'll be able to make these quick decisions via MCP or through our own website and be ready for whenever the next corporate event happens. In the meantime, if your companies are moving to another provider that's not listed within Signed, let us know; we'd be happy to add more custodians to Signed (and eventually integrate with them directly).
